Long Night of Museums

One of the best nights for culture in Berlin is almost here! The Long Night of Museums kicks off on Saturday night. Your ticket gets you access to 75 museums across the city and this year’s theme is “Crime in Berlin”. (Read more on our blog!)

Josef Kaiser: ‘Building for the GDR’

  • Free entry.

The Berlinische Galerie celebrates a new exhibition on Thursday. Josef Kaiser was a key figure in the architecture of the GDR and his work includes Karl Marx Allee including the iconic Kino International. “Building for the GDR” sheds new light on this heritage through drawings, photographs, films and architectural models.

Das Minsk Sommerfestival

  • Free admission/some events require registration.

Das Minsk holds their inaugural summer festival this weekend, with a diverse multi-day program. Most events are free to attend but some require advance registration. They kick things off on Friday with an artists talk and film program, combined with OSC Berlin providing sake and a DJ set in Cafébar HEDWIG.

Yëllow – I Brought You My Flowers

On Thursday, Berlin-based art platform yëllow takes over Schlachter 151 for I Brought You My Flowers. The exhibition brings together over 20 emerging and established artists, all considering the question: What does it mean to give without expecting anything in return?

Kiezkunstmarkt

Need some new art for your home or office? The Kiezkunstmarkt is back to the Nhow on Sunday, giving you the chance top pick up something unique from a large range of local Berlin artists.

Mutant Radio Sessions

Mutant Radio Sessions is a community platform for music and culture, which originated in Tbilisi. On Friday, they takeover silent green with an evening of three experimental music performances.

Late Night Operative Image

Esther Schipper takes over the Deutsche Oper Berlin this weekend, with a 30-hour festival "Unless The People Live Here". On Saturday night, they close things out with a participatory rave on the main stage.


XTRUDE x LASTER w/ Alarico, Akua, Olivia Mendez, Sandrien and Kameliia

Madrid-born LASTER Club touches down at RSO this weekend for a 30-hour party, featuring Akua, Olivia Mendez, Orbe & Psyk, Decka and many more.

Sound Metaphors x Pleasure Patterns

Two Berlin record stores combine forces on Sunday for a two-floor party at Sonnenraum featuring CCL, Lee Gamble, Carmilla Sioux and more.

Refuge Worldwide Free Open Air

Refuge Worldwide takes over Beach Neukölln for another free day party on Sunday. There's two stages, food stalls and a line-up stacked with Refuge residents and special guests. One stage area is family friendly so bring the fam.

aufnahme + wiedergabe: Fünfzehn Jahre // Zweiter Akt

It's already been fifteen years of aufnahme + wiedergabe and on Saturday, they're celebrating with a suitable line-up featuring Leaether Strip, Rhys Fulber, Blush Response and more.

Fortuna Forest

Fortuna Forest returns to Berlin after a two-year break with a concert you'll need a boat to get to! Rent your boat in the park and follow the mother ship-turned-stage for a concert with two ambient/experimental sets. Aperitivo baskets of canned fish, olives, chips, and other snacks are also available on the boat.

Move over Labubu. It's time for Jellycat! The world's largest Jellycat experience opened up at KaDeWe on August 17. Book your time slot to check out the fun-fair style experience and pick up one of the Berlin exclusive editions (including a pretzel and a bratwurst!) Free shopping slots must be booked in advance. (I guess they don't want those crazy queues we saw at Alexa last summer.)

Cemetery Night 2026

The historic Trinity II Cemetery in Kreuzberg transforms into an atmospheric stage for a summer evening full of culture during Cemetery Night. All the residents of the cemetery (including Martin Gropius, Charlotte von Kalb, and Adolph von Menzel) will be honored in an evening celebration of readings, musical performances, interactive activities, and theatrical presentations all while the entire cemetery will be atmospherically illuminated.

UFA Film Nights

Museum Island lights up with a small film festival this week. Three evenings of silent film classics will be shown, all accompanied by live music against the spectacular backdrop of the Kolonnadenhof.
