The exhibition provides a glimpse into the practice of the interdisciplinary artist, who has lived in the city since 2003, and features the multi-part project The Fountain Archives. This ongoing archival work centers on one of the most iconic moments in 20th-century art history: Marcel Duchamp’s legendary 1917 readymade Fountain.

In Democratic Design, Aedes examines how architecture, planning processes, and public spaces can strengthen democratic participation and social cohesion.The programme includes an exhibition, a series of four Lab Talks, and a catalogue featuring contributions from practitioners in Berlin, across Germany, and throughout Europe.
