Exhibition until May 10, 2026
Where: KW Institute for Contemporary Art | Auguststraße 69, 10117 Mitte | Map
KW re-opens this Friday with three new exhibitions: Klara Lidén ‘Kunstwerke’, Jean Katambayi Mukendi ‘RATIO’ and Else Marie Pade ‘Partitur’. The opening reception is also followed by an afterparty at the nearby Chauseestr 131.

When: Opening: Friday, Feb. 20, 18–21:00
Exhibition until Apr. 11, 2026
Where: max goelitz | Rudi-Dutschke-Straße 26, Kreuzberg | Map
With the exhibition core, Kristina Nagel and Marie Matusz explore how perception is structured, guided, and shifted. Matusz’ spatial configurations play against Nagel’s photography in order to explore how our way of seeing is shaped by regimes of materiality, imagery, and space.

Franz Stein: 'Feels Like Spring'
When: Opening Feb 19, 18-20:00
Exhibition until March 22, 2026
Where: König Galerie | Alexandrinenstraße 118-121, 10969 Kreuzberg | Map
It's not spring yet, but you can get a spring-like feeling starting this Thursday at König Galerie in the Chapel of St. Agnes. Franz Stein's "Feels Like Spring" is a celebration of color using signs, markings, dots, and loops in vivid and sometimes neon colors.

Cindy Crawford Exhibition
When: Tues-Sat 11-18:00 until March 14, 2026
Where: Camera Work Gallery | Kantstrasse 149 10623 Charlottenburg | Map

MUSIC
Clubs & Shows

Out Of Place Artefacts
When: Wed, Feb 18, doors 19:00
Where: Berghain | Am Wriezener bhf, 10243 Friedrichshain | Map
Two techno legends (vril & Rødhåd) come together tonight to celebrate their third release: OUT OF PLACE ARTEFACTS - A COMPLEX INTERPLAY OF ZEROS AND ONES (out Feb 20). This edition also features a DJ set by Sara Clarke as well as Peryl with supportive guitar and additional live drums. (I saw these two put on a live show at Zenner a few years ago, which was excellent and I’m frankly surprised this isn’t sold out yet.)

1.618
When: Fri, Feb 20, 19:30-04:00
Where: Schinkel Pavillon | Oberwallstraße 32, 10117 Mitte | Map
Shayne Oliver Group and Reference Studios present an evening at Schinkel Pavillon with a screening, performance and DJ sets by Salome, Total Freedom and Why Be. It’s shaping up to be the perfect intersection of fashion, art and music.
FOOD
Pop-Ups & Events

Rave Nyxt Door
When: Saturday, Feb 21 16:30
Where: Atelier Dough | Glogauer Str. 9, 10999 Kreuzberg | Map
Coffee shop raves are nothing new in Berlin...but have you heard of a make-up coffee rave? It's all going down this Saturday at Atelier Dough with new products, DJs and special drinks. (I really have to hand it to the NYX marketing team for nailing the Berlin vibe with this name & concept! 😝)

Fish n Chips Pop Up
When: Friday, Feb 20, 18:00 until sold out
Where: onette | Grunewaldstraße 11, 10781 Schöneberg | Map
Berlin’s food scene has grown massively through recent years, but I still detect a severe shortage of British-style fish’n’chips. But not to worry this week. Get your fill this Friday at onette, with beer-battered fish, crispy chips and tartar sauce. You can also add-on additional sides like mushy peas and curry sauce, as well as a rhubarb and custard trifle for dessert.

Populus 10 Year Birthday Pop-Up
When: Sat, Feb 21, 10-17:00
Where: doppio coffee | Körtestraße 2, 10967 Kreuzberg | Map
Can we all just admit that Maybachufer is just not the same without Populus? Fortunately, the vibes are not gone for good. Not only are they are still going (and still grinding-ha!), but they are also celebrating their 10th anniversary this weekend at doppio coffee.
MISC
Film, Fashion & More

Kino International Re-Opening
Open House Feb 22
Movies showing from Feb 26, 2026
Where: Kino International | Karl-Marx-Allee 33, 10178 Friedrichshain | Map
Originally opened in 1963, the Kino International is about to re-open once more following an extensive two-year renovation. Surprisingly, for Berlin, this is a few weeks ahead of their projected open date! All technical equipment has been replaced (they now have Christie 4K laser and 7.1 surround sound) but not to worry. All the architectural charm has been preserved, so it still has the same iconic look. To kick things off, the theater is showing Marty Supreme and an open house on Feb 22.

Yes Choir Pink Pony Club
When: Sunday Feb 22, 16:30-18:00
Where: Clärchens Ballhaus | Auguststraße 24/25, 10117 Mitte | Map
Sing your heart out this Sunday as Yes Choir tackles "Pink Pony Club" with a three-part harmony. Don't know how to sing? No problem. Just show up with good vibes and they will teach you everything you need to know.

Floral Wreath Workshop with Marsano
When: Saturday, Feb 21, 10:30-1:30
Where: Marsano | White Label Project Store Kleine Hamburger Str. 15, 10117 Mitte | Map
Valentine’s Day might be over but it’s always time for flowers. Treat yourself to this workshop by Marsano to learn how to put together a gorgeous floral wreath (to take home of course) with matcha and snacks provided. It’s the perfect weekend side-quest to cure your February blues!

Preloved Market
When: Saturday, Feb 21, 11-16:00
Where: Senefelderstr 30A, 10437 Prenzlauer Berg | Map
It's still a bit too cold and snowy for a proper flohmarkt. But that doesn't mean you have to save your money until spring. Get a head start this Saturday with the Preloved Market, which focuses on women's and children's clothing.
