  • Free admission to the opening reception.

Hamburger Bahnhof kicks off the first in a series of 30th anniversary programming with Giulia Andreani’s “Sabotage”. The exhibition presents paintings that expose alternate viewpoints to official histories. Andreani’s artistic practice focuses on “painting with photographs” and exposes the tension between authoritarian figures and forgotten characters of the past.

It’s worth a trek out to Moabit this Friday as a new group show opens at Alexander Levy. There’s also another show (Katalin Ladik: ‘Poemim’) at the LEVY Galerie next door.

  • Emma Rose Schwartz: ‘Giant Skeleton’

Canadian artist Emma Rose Schwartz launches her first exhibition at KTZ this Friday. Giant Skeleton is named after a moment in pop culture: a 12-foot skeleton at Home Depot named “Skelly”. What was meant to be temporary season Halloween decoration turned out to be a storage challenge and subsequently became a permanent fixture in many front yards.

  • Torture Garden Berlin Anniversary Ball 2026

Celebrate Torture Garden Berlin’s sixth anniversary this Saturday at Metropol, featuring body art by Aesthetic Meat Front, fashion from Torture Garden Latex, burlesque, aerialists, DJs and much more.

  • Drift Kyiv x Rawmantique

For this Studio Night, Studio 1111 teams up with Rawmantique and Drift Kyiv. The Night starts with an Exhibition by Daniela Torres. (SOFT)CORE is a visual essay on touch; an exploration of intimacy, texture, and sensation as both physical experience and emotional language. Moving between tenderness and tension, the work reflects on Indulgence Lust as a state of embodied desire: subtle, restrained, yet deeply present.

Street Food Thursday is always a great choice but this week, they’re taking it the extra mile and celebrating Ukraine. Just after the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion, pick up your borscht, syrnyky, vareniki, and more at Markthalle Neun. Share a meal and connect with others over some delicious Ukrainian food.

In a land famous for its bread, it can still be quite frustrating to find a good sandwich. Get your sandwich cravings met this weekend at Sway, as Club Baguette serves up jambon beurre sandwiches (and comte for the vegetarians).

  • Sofi x Populus Public Coffee Cupping

Populus Coffee continues their tenth birthday celebrations this week with an afternoon public coffee cupping at Sofi. (Cupping from 17-18:00.)

Ate Drag Brunch returns with a five-course brunch menu and a lineup of fierce drag performances.

For something a little different, listen to funk, soul and disco on vinyl as you indulge in a Chinese-style tea bar, all housed inside Another June Vintage. Tickets include the tea tasting, which includes some rare and exclusive choices.

The Hohenzollern crypt at the Berliner Dom has been closed for renovations for the past six years. Celebrate the re-opening this Thursday with free admission and take a closer look at the burial place of the Brandenburg-Prussian ruling family as well as behind-the-scenes access to the cathedral choir and more.
