Art Biesenthal is back this August at the Wehrmuehle Museum (about an hour’s drive outside of Berlin) with a special edition focused on sound. This edition features art from a number of Berlin galleries alongside a music program and dinner program unfolding across the month.

What’s the perfect date? For me that will always include a few hours at an art museum. Neue Nationalgalerie is making that easy for you, for the last two Thursdays of the Brancusi exhibition. Boook two tickets and get a special gift to take home.
On that note, did you know that the Brancusi exhibition has been the most popular at the museum, with over 300,000 expected visitors, making it the museum's most successful and most-visited special exhibition since 2012? It’s definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been yet.

This weekend at Galerie im Körnerpark, Canberk Akçal presents Sofra: a participatory dinner performance. Akçal's work explores how people connect with each other and with spaces. Two sessions take place on Saturday and participation is limited to ten people per seating. The performance will be held in English.
There will also be a Reading & Gathering session on Sunday, August 2, 16-17:00. No registration required.

Berlin Art Run

Berlin has seen the rave run, coffee run, even beer runs. But I’m betting that this is Berlin’s first art run. Start your journey at Kunsthaus Dahlem with a short tour, followed by a run to Galerie Bastian and onward to Studio Daniel Hölzl to finish up.

Camerawork Gallery hosts an exhibition at Olympiastadion until August 9th. Swing by to check out Martin Schoeller’s extraordinary portraits of famous people like Bono, Taylor Swift, Julia Roberts and more. On August 2nd and 9th, you can also catch a screening of We All Bleed Red is a documentary film about Schoeller. Entry for the exhibition and screening is available with a normal Olympiastadion ticket.

For this edition, the art comes via Colombian multidisciplinary artist Andrea Otoya Covelli alongside Argentine researcher Lena Becerra. Keyi Magazine Fundraiser

Young Euro Classic

The Young Euro Classic takes over the Konzerhaus for the next two weeks. Every year, young symphony orchestras from around the world meet in Berlin for a festival of classical music, each bringing their own unique sounds and stories. This year also features a choir for the first time: the Estonian National Opera Boys' Choir.
