Starting on Thursday night, you can discover the work of former VOGUE Germany editor-in-chief Angelica Blechschmidt at Grisebach Auctions. The exhibition focuses on a curated selection of her rare runway, backstage, and party photographs in the 90s. The photos capture the raw energy and glamour of fashion's most defining eras, with lots of famous faces.

If you haven't check out the Marc Brandenburg exhibition at Berlinische Galerie, here's your chance! Drop by on Friday for Brandenboogie where the artist will perform live within his current exhibition, creating special soundtracks for his works. There will also be temporary tattoos which turn you into the artwork, Brandenburg merch and drinks from Café Dix.

The exhibition 'Rauschen: Echoes of an Institution' examines the work of the Centre for Art Exhibitions of the GDR (Zentrum für Kunstausstellungen der DDR - ZfK). These works shed light on its complex role at the intersection of state cultural policy and international cultural exchange. “Rauschen” (noise or static) stands for the faint background sounds that become audible behind an institution’s official narratives.

The group show ‘Louder, Taller, Uglier, Weirder’ explores the concept of weeds: plants that are deemed undesirable and usually removed. Yet with a closer look, many of these so-called plant nuisances are quite ecologically valuable. The works ask us the question: What does it mean to be weed—to unsettle, to permeate, to transgress—within art, institutions, language, and everyday life?

Capitain Petzel presents Mikołaj Sobczak’s second solo exhibition. ‘Ancora’ (Italian for “again” or “still”) juxtapositions historical events with elements of the present, focusing on the recurring cycles through which historical narratives are continually reconfigured. The exhibition centers on three large-format paintings commissioned by the Salzburger Kunstverein. These works were first shown in 2025 as part of the exhibition Moon, Sun, Mercury at the Salzburger Kunstverein.

Stevie Dix explores uncharted territory with 'Drift'. These new works were created after personal ordeal: preparing to welcome her son while mourning the loss of her mother. 'Drift' explores how grief, loss, and joy blend into one another in “a changing state, undesirable and unstable”.⁠

Head to Camera Work Gallery on Saturday for double the usual pleasure. First, you can check out their Kiezmarkt in their courtyard featuring some local businesses, as well as ice cream, crafts for the kids, and more. Second, at noon and 3pm, they're also offering public tours of their current exhibition by Christian Tagliavini and Eugenio Recuenco.

Reethaus opens up for their first Open House experience of the summer. Doug Aitken's 'Lightscape' is a fever-dream song cycle recorded with the Los Angeles Master Chorale and curated by Soundwalk Collective. The Lightscape project grew from improvisatory recording workshops into a multimedia project spanning feature-length film, multi-screen installations, Philharmonic performances and sculptures. At Reethaus, the audio origin of this vast imaginal universe will be presented as a standalone work for the first time, custom-spacialized for the 16-channel omnidirectional sound system of the listening chamber.
