Opening Party: Corbijn, Anton

Dutch artist Anton Corbijn celebrated his 70th birthday last year and this exhibition takes look at the past five decades of his work. Take a closer look at 150 black and white photos of his famous subjects like, Depeche Mode, Tom Waits, Einstürzende Neubauten. Tickets for the artist talk are sold out but there are still spots left for the opening and party.

Every first Thursday of the month, Neue Nationalgalerie offers free entry for all exhibitions. If you haven't gone yet, this is your chance to see the Brancusi, Ruin und Rausch Berlin 1910–1930 and the fog sculpture by Fujiko Nakaya, as well as Beeple's Natural Animals.

The mowe Festival for Art and Urban Culture kicks off this Friday for a three-day journey across the cultural landscape of Moabit and Wedding. The festival is focused on urban practice with queer and post-migrant perspectives, across fifty venues in the festival area. You can catch exhibitions, artist talks, and workshops as well as more unique experiences like concerts under the trees and performances in backyards.

Atonal Festival's The Infinite Now festival kicks off this Sunday at Kraftwerk. This first prelude features Oneohtrix Point Never (aka Daniel Lopatin, who recently worked on the Marty Supreme soundtrack) along with Freeka Tet.

180 min with JakoJako (live)

This month's 180 min session features JakoJako, taking you on a solo modular techno journey. She is supported by Irakli, who's opening with a 2-hour blissed out DJ set. If you've never been, I highly recommend these event as a club alternate. They're more meant for deep listening rather than dancing.

Tresor invites Richie Hawtin: MinusPlus

If Gallery Weekend wasn’t enough art for you, then here’s your next stop. Check out the second edition of Between Taste & Touch this Friday. Picture a night of experimental dining and intuitive art. The evening begins with surprise tasting spoons and guided prompts designed to spark inspiration and creative flow. Take that inspiration into painting together on a shared canvas, guided by an artist. Your ticket includes a seven-course tasting menu, drinks and art materials. You also get to take a piece of the art home with you. Spots are limited to ensure a cozy experience for all.

Classic Car Days

Kurfürstendamm, between Leibnizstraße and Joachimsthaler Straße
Free admission.
Two kilometers of Kurfürstendamm shuts down this wekeend to host over 2000 classic cars and more than 700,000 guests. With cars for every taste plus stage shows, champagne lounges and more, it's a not-to-be-missed event for car lovers.

Exhibition: 'Inventing Queer Cinema'

Discover the stories, experiences, and realities of the queer experience. This exhibition focuses on films and filmmakers who have shaped and reinvented queer cinema in Germany since the 70s, with a particular focus on Berlin as a center of queer film and subculture.

Berlin fashion house SLVA cohosts an event that includes a group workout, dance performance, and live runway show. World Hat Walk 2026

The World Hat Walk was originally launched in Barcelona in 2014. But it quickly became a world wide celebration that brings together hat-makers and hat enthusiasts from all over the world. Berlin is just one of 90 cities across six continents taking part. This is your moment to bust out your best millinery and parade through the city with your fellow hat lovers. (Or maybe just find a spot to watch it go by! Keep an eye out for the gorgeous Berlin icon Britt Kanja if you do.) The parade starts at Hotel Adlon and ends at Heckmann Höfe.
