Monolog Festival: 'I Want To Believe'
When: November 6-16, 2025
Where: TD | Eingang rechts, Klosterstraße 44 10179 Mitte | Map
The 8th Monologue Festival at TD Berlin explores belief as a creative force: how a want can drive us to action or madness, and a belief can build or break communities. Through theatre, performance, music, and debate, artists open new perspectives on what it means to believe. Founded in 2007, the festival transforms the monologue into a shared experience: solos on a common theme performed in succession, creating dialogue rather than isolation. As a “democratic chandelier” and “social campfire,” the festival bridges the self and the collective, asking how personal conviction can ignite collective vision in a polarized world.

The experience lasts around 15 minutes, with slots available between 18:00–20:00 and 20:00–22:00, offering a contemplative journey between presence and absence, the individual and the collective.
